ELECTRIC AURA is where we are diving into The How of embodying a self image our 80 year old self is so f**king proud of and creating raw, beautiful, electric photographs that document this shift in seeing our bodies and our magic.
At every age we have "legit reasons" as to why we, our bodies, are not enough. There is always something that bugs us, eats away at our confidence and takes us out of moments because we are too focused on how we look or don't want to appear to be, to be fully immersed in what could be a joyful, core memory moment.
How we see us, affects everything. Even though never feeling satisfied with our appearance is something us women are primed for since birth, we can choose to opt out of it.
We are literal portals that have the ability to bring souls into human form.
Our bodies make other bodies and feed and grow and birth other human bodies without us having to mentally know how.
Like... seriously WTAF?!
WE ARE MAGICAL PORTALS and we have the audacity to believe and see ours as gross or damaged or wrong or broken or fugly.
So whhhhhhyyyyyy do we think that our bodies need to be fixed?
And why do we shame her for not being something that she is not?
And why do we think other bodies are more beautiful and worthy and desired than our own?
Sounds ridiculous. But I know I still slide into these thought caves of darkness and woe and sadness at myself, my body. Especially when I enter a new era. In my 20's I longed for my 17 & 18 year old body. In my 30's my 20 something body. And now in my 40's.... yeah the same shit about me in my 30's being way hotter than I am now.
I have almost a decades experience in teaching women how to create self portraits they love to look at because they have shifted their self image and learnt how to become the art, the artist and the muse. In Electric Aura we will dive into the how of this shift in a way I have never taught before!
ELECTRIC AURA is a live, interactive workshop + access to own virtual lab to experiment with our self image to embody a way of seeing oursleves that our 80 year old wise self will look back at and say "damn woman, because of you the life we had together was a work of art!"
